Corrections policy
Last updated: June 2026
Accuracy matters to us. When we publish something that turns out to be wrong, we fix it openly rather than quietly. This page explains how.
How to report an error
If you spot a factual mistake in any article, email hello@pidwid.xyz with the article title and a short description of the issue (a source or link helps). We review every report.
How we handle corrections
- Minor fixes (typos, formatting, broken links) are made without a formal note.
- Factual corrections are made promptly, and the article's "updated" date is changed to reflect the edit.
- Significant corrections — where the change alters the meaning of the piece — include a clear note at the foot of the article describing what changed and when.
Updates vs. corrections
Some articles are updated over time as new information emerges. An update adds or refreshes information; a correction fixes something that was inaccurate. We treat the two differently and label significant corrections explicitly.
